Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 14, 2026

Dalo Technology Services LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through www.dalotechservices.com and our APIs (collectively, the "Services"), how we use and share it, and the choices available to you. This Privacy Policy applies to individuals and to the individuals who act on behalf of business customers.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us:

Information collected automatically:

Financial identifiers submitted to the Financial ID Validator API:

When you or your end users submit a card number, IBAN, BIC/SWIFT code, or bank routing number to our Financial ID Validator API for validation, that data is used transiently, in memory, solely to compute and return the validation result. We do not log, persist, or store the content of these submissions. You are responsible for your own legal basis for collecting and transmitting such data, and for ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable data protection and payment card industry (PCI) requirements on your end.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to: provision and authenticate API keys; process registrations and subscription payments; deliver API keys and transactional emails (including via our email provider, Resend); operate, maintain, and secure the Services; enforce rate limits and our Acceptable Use policy; respond to support and contact inquiries; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share personal information only as follows:

4. Data Storage and Security

Account and API key data is stored using Cloudflare D1. API keys are stored as one-way cryptographic hashes rather than in plain text; only a short prefix of your key is retained for display purposes. Data submitted to our validation endpoints (card numbers, IBANs, BIC codes, and routing numbers) is not written to D1 or any other persistent storage. We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account or API key is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, accounting, or security obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your information as described in Section 7 below.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website may use strictly necessary cookies and similar local storage technologies to support core functionality, such as keeping the API Playground and dashboard working correctly. We do not currently use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, or to receive a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@dalotechservices.com; we may need to verify your identity before completing your request. If you are a California resident, these rights are provided consistent with the California Consumer Privacy Act; if you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, these rights are provided consistent with the General Data Protection Regulation.

8. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for any cross-border transfer of personal information.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to, and are not intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

Our website may link to third-party sites, such as our payment processor's checkout pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
