Terms of Service
Last Updated: September 14, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you (an individual or a business, "you" or "Customer") and Dalo Technology Services LLC ("Dalo Technology Services," "Company," "we," "our," or "us"), governing your access to and use of our website at www.dalotechservices.com, our application programming interfaces (including the Crypto Price API, Crypto Risk Score API, Zipcode Location API, AI Translator API, Security Posture API, SEO Health Score API, and Financial ID Validator API — covering IBAN, BIC/SWIFT, card, and ABA routing checksum validation — together with any other APIs we make available through our API Catalog from time to time), developer dashboards, documentation, and any related tools (collectively, the "Services").
By creating an API key, registering an account, subscribing to a paid plan, or otherwise accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Services. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity, in which case "you" refers to that entity.
1. Description of Services
Dalo Technology Services provides hosted API endpoints that return data such as cryptocurrency market pricing, U.S. ZIP code geographic lookups, AI-based text translation, domain security posture and SEO health scoring, and financial identifier validation (IBAN, BIC/SWIFT, card number, and ABA routing checksum checks), along with a developer dashboard, documentation, and an interactive API playground. We may add, modify, or discontinue individual APIs or features at any time.
2. Eligibility
The Services are available to individuals who are at least 18 years old and to businesses and other organizations acting through an authorized representative. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all registration information you provide is accurate and current.
3. Accounts and API Keys
To use the Services you must obtain an API key by registering with accurate contact and, where applicable, billing information, or by purchasing a paid plan. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API key and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at info@dalotechservices.com if you believe your API key has been compromised. We reserve the right to revoke or regenerate any API key at our discretion, including for suspected abuse or violation of these Terms.
4. Subscription Plans, Fees, and Payment
We offer a free tier and paid subscription tiers (Starter, Pro, and Enterprise), each with a monthly call allowance and features as described on our Pricing page. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through our third-party payment processor, Stripe, and automatically renew each billing period until canceled. You authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method on file for all applicable fees.
All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as we expressly state otherwise. We may change our pricing or plan features at any time; changes will apply prospectively and, where required, we will provide reasonable notice before they take effect on your account.
5. Free Tier
The free Developer Basic tier is provided for testing, evaluation, and personal, non-commercial projects, subject to the call limits described on our Pricing page. We may modify, limit, or discontinue the free tier at any time.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to, and not to permit any third party to:
- Use the Services in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with rate limits, authentication, or other security features of the Services;
- Share, sell, sublicense, or publicly post your API key, or use another party's API key without authorization;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Services, except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
- Use the Services to build a product or service that is substantially similar to, and directly competitive with, the Services;
- Transmit any malicious code, or use the Services in a manner that could disable, overburden, or impair their operation;
- Use the Services to collect or process personal data in a way that violates applicable privacy or data protection laws.
7. Rate Limits and Usage
Each plan is subject to the monthly call limits described on our Pricing page. We may throttle, queue, or reject requests that exceed your plan's limits, and we may suspend an API key that we reasonably believe is being used to circumvent those limits.
8. Third-Party and Underlying Data
Certain Services (including the Crypto Price API, Zipcode Location API, and AI Translator API) return data sourced or generated from third-party providers and automated systems. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data, and it should not be relied upon as the sole basis for financial, medical, legal, shipping, or other decisions with material consequences.
The Financial ID Validator API (IBAN, BIC/SWIFT, card, and ABA routing checksum endpoints) performs format and checksum validation only. A successful validation result confirms that a submitted identifier is structurally well-formed under the relevant published standard; it does NOT confirm that an account, card, or institution exists, is open, is active, or belongs to any particular person or entity. Verifying the existence or status of a financial account requires separate, licensed verification methods (such as bank-side confirmation, micro-deposits, or a live payment processor) that are not part of this Service. You are solely responsible for determining whether format validation alone is sufficient for your use case before relying on it in production decisions.
9. Intellectual Property
We and our licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Services, including all associated software, documentation, and trademarks. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services solely for your internal business or personal purposes and, where permitted by your plan, to incorporate API responses into your own applications.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DALO TECHNOLOGY SERVICES LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Dalo Technology Services LLC from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Services and, for paid plans, cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, misused the Services, or failed to pay applicable fees. Upon termination, your right to use the Services and any associated API keys will immediately cease.
14. Changes to the Services or These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Maryland, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
16. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
